EQUIPMENT
Compacting
Mechanical and Hydraulic presses ranging from 30 to
200 tons CNC enable us to manufacture a large
variety of components.
Sintering
The sintering department is equipped with continuous
furnaces operating up to 1150(C (2100(F). The
present capacity of these furnaces is 450 tons per
year in ferrous materials.
Secondary
Operations
Secondary operations on the sintered components such
as turning, cutting, grinding, tapping, threading,
are done under the M.S.M.’s supervising by
subcontractors. A line of automatic tapping and
threading has been installed lately. Automation is
built by M.S.M.’s technical staff whenever is
needed and for special orders, to facilitate the
secondary operations.
Steam
Treatment
Protective Oxidation-Steam Treatment is available
“in-house” and carried out upon customer’s
specifications.
Heat
Treatment Hardening, case hardening and
tempering are available through an outside
subcontractor under the specifications and
supervision of M.S.M.’s Engineering Department.
Tools
Department
A modern, fully equipped tool room enables us to
manufacture most of the tools “in house”.
Turning, milling, E.D.M., polishing and thermal
treatment are available.
Technical Services
Our
engineering department supervises each step in the
manufacturing process. They are also at our
customer’s disposal for advice and consultation.
Quality Control
M.S.M. Metalsinter Ltd. is
an ISO 9001:2000 certified company having all the
necessary equipment for any Metallography, Optical
and measuring machine, Microscopy tests, xyz
coordinate measuring, profile projector, etc.
The quality assurance is carried out on production
lots “on line”.
Each step in the manufacturing process is controlled
and monitored by the Quality Assurance Department.
Shipments leave the plant after the final inspection
is carried out. We are expecting in the nearly
future to be QS 9000 certified.
